About Food for Fido
Food for Fido, an annual event benefitting the Western PA Humane Society, will be held on Saturday, May 23, from 9-5 at the home studio of Nicole Begley Photography in Wexford.
Food for Fido is a great way to capture memories with your four-legged friends while keeping those who still await their adoptions well-cared-for.
Schedule a session by filling out the Food for Fido Registration page. Advanced registration–to be done by Friday at the latest–is required.
The 15-minute mini sessions are $35 for one dog, $60 for two dogs, and $75 for three dogs. Pets in multiple-dog sessions must reside in the same household.
All session fees will be donated to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society. Pet owners are also encouraged to bring a large bag of dog food to their session for the Humane Society.
Nicole Begley, owner of Nicole Begley Photography, hopes to exceed last year’s donations of over $500 and 700 pounds of food. “I believe that the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, along with all of the other shelters and rescue organizations, is an incredible resource for the Greater Pittsburgh Region,” she said.
Pet owners can purchase photos of their dogs separately from Nicole Begley Photography. Several specialty collections have been created for Food for Fido, or individual items can be purchased. Check out the special product offerings for details on what is included in each collection.
About the Western PA Humane Society
The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society provides comprehensive, compassionate and humane services to enhance the lives of companion animals, and to educate and prevent the cruelty of animals throughout the region.
The Western PA Humane Society is an open door shelter, meaning no animal in need will ever be turned away. The open door policy results in food and medication being provided to 10,000 animals every year.
Several adoption and fundraising events are held throughout the year to help keep animals healthy and find their forever homes.
